A. R. Chesson Construction Company, Inc. celebrated their 35th year in business with company–wide employee luncheons held in Williamston and Elizabeth City, NC. The luncheons highlighted the firm’s evolution and many advancements over the past three and a half decades with slideshows of the firm’s early-to-present day operations and development throughout northeastern North Carolina. A. R. Chesson Construction currently teams with over forty accomplished and skilled employees living east of I-95.
Owners Al and Margaret Chesson both continue to have hands-on positions in the daily operations. The firm is a national leader in pre-engineered metal buildings and employs three LEED-certified designers, full-time IT Manager, a Safety Officer, Project Managers, Job Superintendents, and a strong administrative staff. The company has constructed more than 1,500 buildings including industrial and commercial buildings, churches, schools, governmental, and historical structures. Together the employees have worked over 925,000 accident-free hours earning their eleventh NCDOL safety award and boasts a cumulative experience of nearly 500 years. President Al Chesson continues to move the company forward with this talented staff by forward thinking ideas, technology, integrity, and efficiency.
