AL CHESSON
OWNER - PRESIDENT
Al R. Chesson, grew up in Williamston, N.C. and was educated at
The University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill, earning a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in 1977. In 1979, He joined D.G. Manning Construction Company as superintendent.
He founded A. R. Chesson Construction Company, Inc. in 1981 to build residential and commercial buildings. In 1986, the company shifted its focus to entirely commercial and industrial buildings with its primary market area in Eastern North Carolina.
As President, Al has established A. R. Chesson Construction Company as a leader in the region in design/build construction, project management and development services for new construction, renovations and expansions, from offices in Williamston, and Elizabeth City, N.C. Projects include industrial buildings, medical offices, schools and recreational, retail, historical additions and restoration, and ecclesiastical facilities in Eastern North Carolina and Virginia.
